Nothing quite like homemade apple sauce to impress your guests.

  • 2 apples
  • Caster sugar

01. Peal apples, take the centres out of them and cut into small chunky pieces, place them into a bowl of water to stop them going brown.

02. Place the apple pieces into your pan together with approximately 50 ml of water then heat on hob at a moderate temperature until the apples have created a pulp type texture add 1 table spoon of sugar and mix into the pulp. Taste the mixture and keep adding sugar until the pulp has a sweat flavour. When heating the apples occasionally stir the mixture to ensure it is not sticking to the bottom of the pan, if this happens add more water.
